From 1913 to the present day, the School District of Kansas City, Missouri has had many superintendents who have served from one month to 14 years. Mr. James A. Hazlett was the last superintendent to serve that many years. Dr. Robert Wheeler served five years, and both Dr. George Garcia and Dr. Walter Marks served four years.
