In an effort to transform education, the Kansas City, Missouri School District (KCMSD) has initiated a historic strategic planning effort. The goal is to work hand-in-hand with the community to develop specific goals and objectives to provide children with a world-class education regardless of changes in leadership or personnel.
The Strategic Planning Effort is led by an 8-person Strategic Planning Steering Committee:
The Steering Committee will lead a 60-person Core Team through a revision of the District mission and vision statements, the development of key objectives and beliefs, and the setting of parameters for this important project.
