Early Learning Programs 
 
Early Childhood is a free preschool program for children ages 3, 4, and 5. This program helps to prepare children for kindergarten and future academic success while encouraging parental involvement and establishing a link between home and school.

Head Start is a federally funded preschool for children ages 3, 4, and 5 from low income families. This program helps to prepare children for kindergarten and future academic success while encouraging parental involvement and establishing a link between home and school.


The Early Learning Classroom:
* Encourages language development through a culturally diverse and print-rich environment.
* Promotes literacy through early reading and writing experiences.
* Introduces hands-on science and math learning.
* Enhances social development by creating an environment where children express their ideas and feelings and solve their own conflicts.
* Offers healthy living practices through music and and excercise.
* Physical and occupational therapy and Speech and language therapy available for children who qualify for them.

Parents as Teachers: This program provides parenting support and help for families with children from birth through age 5. Services include individual visits with parent educators, developmental screenings, and group meetings with other parents.
